Identity exposure monitoring
Your work is public
Your personal life doesn't have to be
We search the open web and the harder corners of it to find what a stranger could learn about you from your listings, profiles and activity. Then we show you the risks and help you close them.
Three examples of the identity links we look for
Possible identity link
- 1Your stage name, from a public listing
- 2The same username on Instagram
- 3Linked to a personal Facebook
- 4Your real name and city
Possible identity link
- 1Your channel handle, from a public stream
- 2The same handle on a Discord member list
- 3An old account under your real name
- 4Your full name and city
Possible identity link
- 1Your byline, from a published story
- 2A personal account using the same photo
- 3An old address on a public register
- 4Your home address
What we do
We find the links
You stay in control
We use open source intelligence to search the web, social media and breach data for anything that connects your working identity to your private one, then show you what a motivated stranger could find. Nothing is published, nothing is sold, and nothing leaves us until we know who we are sending it to.
Scan
We search the open web, social media, archived pages and breach data.
Find
We identify the links between your work and your private life.
Verify
Before anything is released, we confirm you are the person the report is about.
Report
You get a plain report with risk levels and what to do next.
Fix
We help you act, from takedown requests to separating accounts.
An illustration of how findings are presented. Your results arrive as a written report.
Real insights, not just data
A clear picture of your digital footprint
We don't hand you a pile of data. We show how it connects, what it means, and what to do about it. Reports are written in plain language with clear next steps.
About us
Real people
Proven experience
I founded offstage. I helped build FetLife, served as President of the board at SIN, and worked in fraud detection. I uncovered COVID relief fraud for Scarlet Alliance, and I have done investigative journalism for The Guardian and ABC News.
I know how these systems work and I've seen how they get abused. That's why I built offstage. I'm also a worker and an advocate, and I've been in the trenches.
✓We don't need your legal name
Your stage name, your listings and a way to reach you. We don't build an account around who you really are.
✓No permanent database
We are not building a searchable list of the people we protect. Your case is work to be done, not a profile to keep.
✓Findings are kept offline
Results are encrypted and moved onto a machine with no internet connection, then destroyed when your case closes.
✓Payment stays separate
The company processing your payment never receives what we find, and your payment details are not part of your case.
✓We verify before we release
Knowing that a case exists is not the same as being allowed to receive it. We check, every time, with no exceptions.
✓You can look me up
I'm public, my background is real, and this isn't a faceless operation. It's my name, my work and my reputation.

We're open about who we are
Look us up, ask questions, and see our history. You shouldn't have to take a privacy company on faith, and most people who find us were sent by someone they already trust.

FAQs
Questions people actually ask
Do I have to give you my legal name?
No. We work from your stage name, the profiles you point us at, and a way to reach you. We don't build an account with your legal name, date of birth or home address in it, because we don't want to be holding that.
How do you know I'm not investigating someone else?
Because we check. Before any findings leave us, we confirm you are the person the report is about, and we do it against material that is genuinely hard to reach. If that check doesn't pass, you don't get the report, and no amount of arguing will change that. It's the one part of the process we won't bend on.
Can you make me invisible?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who says they can. We can't control what has already been copied, cached, screenshotted or sold. What we can do is find what's reachable now, help you remove what can be removed, and tell you the truth about the rest.
What happens to what you find?
It's encrypted and moved onto a machine with no internet connection. We don't sell it, publish it, or keep a searchable database of the people we work for. When your case closes, the findings are destroyed.
Will this show up on my bank statement?
Payment is handled separately from the research, and the company processing your card never receives anything we find. If a discreet billing descriptor matters to you, say so before you sign up and we'll tell you exactly what will appear.
